SUMMARY:Data Interaction with Python (Plotly Dash) Workshop with Balik Scientist Dr. Arun Decano
DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the Data Interaction with Python (Plotly Dash) Workshop!\n\n\n\nThe Department of Biology\, College of Science\, University of the Philippines Baguio\, through the DOST-PCHRD Balik Scientist Program of Dr. Arun Decano\, is pleased to present the first session of the Data Interaction and Genomics Workshop Series. \n\n\n\n Data Interaction with Python (Plotly Dash)\n 10 June 2026\n 9:00 AM – 12:00 NN\n\n Balay Internasyonal\, UP Baguio \n\n\n\nDiscover how Python can be used to transform data into interactive visualizations and web applications. Through hands-on exercises using Plotly Dash and Google Colab\, participants will learn practical approaches to data exploration\, visualization\, and scientific communication.\n\n\n\nThis workshop is open to faculty members\, researchers\, students\, and technical staff from UP Baguio and partner institutions who are interested in bioinformatics\, genomics\, antimicrobial resistance\, infectious diseases\, data science\, and related fields. \n\n\n\nAs part of the broader capacity-building initiative under the DOST-PCHRD Balik Scientist Program\, this workshop aims to strengthen local expertise and foster collaboration in genomics\, bioinformatics\, and data science in the Cordillera region and beyond.\n\n\nWe look forward to learning\, innovating\, and building research capacity together!
