Reduced cost of tuition and other school fees

The Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, also known as Republic Act 10931 (RA 10931), was enacted into law in 2017. This legislation has led to a reduction in tuition and other school fees, particularly benefiting undergraduate students attending constituent universities of the University of the Philippines. Under RA 10931, eligible undergraduate students can access quality education without incurring tuition costs, enabling them to complete their undergraduate programs within a specified timeframe.
