EXCITING NEWS 
Last January 22-23, UP Baguio BS Biology students Salatiel Tacorda, Fraji Pascua, and Jamin Santos attended the 30th Korean ๐. ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐จ๐ข๐ฏ๐ด Meeting held in Gangneung, Korea.
They presented a poster on their undergraduate thesis entitled “Employing Machine Learning in Quantifying the Behavioral Effects of ๐๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ข ๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ถ (Betelnut) extract on ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ด ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐จ๐ข๐ฏ๐ด General Movement”.
The Department recognizes this accomplishment and may this serve as an inspiration to all of our young scientists!
