The College of Science, University of the Philippines Baguio, and the SINSM committee are pleased to announce the 29th Summer Institute in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics which will be held in person for Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physical Sciences on April 4-6, 2024.
The theme for this year’s SINSM is ”Recalibrating Science and Mathematics Education Instruction through Modern and Flexible Teaching and Research Methods Part 2” which aims to reinforce approaches in pedagogies and research methods to sustain hybrid modes of learning.
Whether you are a secondary or tertiary educator/researcher, this workshop is designed to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge that can be applied in your personal and professional life. The Department of Biology cluster adapts the theme “Introducing One Health in Secondary Education: Understanding health and environment in our daily lives.”
The Department will be offering face-to-face lectures and guided activities/workshops on the following topics:

Environmental health
Parasitology and ecology
Zoonosis
Epidemiology
Biomedical research
There are only 30 slots available and early registration period will be from 15 to 29 February 2024 while the regular registration period will be from 01 to 21 March 2024. Registration fee and registration details will be posted on February 15, 2024.
