It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to the Exit Report Presentation of DOST Balik-Scientist Dr. Ailyn F. Fadriquela, entitled “𝗠𝘆 (𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰) 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵”. This event is FREE and is scheduled to take place on 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 via Zoom.
The Balik Scientist Program (BSP) is a vital initiative aimed at promoting information exchange and accelerating the flow of new technology into our country. The program’s primary objective is to encourage Filipino scientists to return and reside in the Philippines, sharing their expertise for the benefit of our nation. The Exit Report Presentation will provide an overview of Dr. Fadriquela’s work and achievements, the outcomes of her 6-month stay with UP Baguio as a Balik Scientist (July 1, 2023 – January 13, 2024), and the impact of her expertise on our local scientific community.
The event will be hosted by the Department of Biology, University of the Philippines Baguio, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD).
